Objective

• Advertise and promote Hwa Chong's various contributions in the Green Movement
• Raise awareness and influence other academic institutions to join in the Green Movement and make a larger impact to society
• Help the school invent a resource package to teach various individuals about the green initiatives

Target Audience

• Enlighten the students on why the school is doing its part in the Green Movement
• Encourage students to better appreciate the efforts the school has done to save the earth
• Inspire students to initiate green initiatives on their own

• Highlight the importance of caring for our environment as a world-class institution
• Raise awareness of the various contributions made for our environment

• Let them know that their sons have been actively helping out the environment by supporting the school's green initiatives

Rationale

• The information on all the green initiatives are all over the place and have neither been organised nor published, therefore not many know about the various initiatives. Hence, our project aims to let our target audience know more about these initiatives.

2. Methods of presentation
1. Guided Tour
• The guided tour is a physical tour that would be conducted by our project group members. On this tour, we plan to bring the students or visitors around the 5 stations of interests regarding the green initiatives that Hwa Chong Institution has. At each station, a brief introduction of the initiative would be given before we conduct mini activities and quizzes to ensure that our "tourists" would be able to learn something and remember the facts via a fun and interesting way. Booklets would also be given out to students while those with a smartphone would be directed to our mobile site where extensive information regarding the stations can be found. The booklet and mobile site are meant to engage the people on our tour and make it a fun and enriching experience at the same time.
2. Virtual tour
• The virtual tour is meant for people who are unable to make it for the guided tour itself. On our website, the 5 stations each have their own pages and all the information regarding them is also up there. Photos of the stations can also be found, and for certain stations like the aquaponics lab, we have included photosynths, which allow users to explore the station in the comfort of their own home. This allows them to see the station via a 360 degree point of view, as if they are on the actual site itself.

• Information regarding the school's initiatives were obtained from the school with permission from our mentor
• All photos on the website and booklet are taken by our own group members
• Information regarding rooftop gardens and aquaponics have been taken from online sources, mostly wikipedia.
